Maintenance Supervisor (Houston in Galveston, IN

A national commercial real estate investment and management company currently seeks an energetic, self-starting, individual to be the Maintenance Supervisor in the Texas CityGalveston area. The position reports to the buildings property manager. Skills and Work Background The successful applicant will have demonstrated mechanical expertise with substantial HVAC and pneumatic systems background strongly preferred. Applicants should be consistently energetic, diligent and persistent in their approach to their responsibilities, and manifest a strong sense of personal responsibility and pride in their work. Applicants must be team-players with strong follow-up and communication expertise. Duties Grounds and building maintenance repairs Advanced mechanical systems maintenance Plumbing and electrical repairs Maintenance of security door systems and locks Able to communicate effectively with on-site manager and tenants Fire Life safety systems Able to effectively supervise assistant maintenance staff Assist Property Manager with Safety and Maintenance training to building staff Assist Property Manager with contacting vendors and obtaining proposals for various projects Responsible for completing assigned maintenance tasks in a timely manner Responsible for completing assigned preventative maintenance tasks in a timely manner Coordinating and supervising contractors and projects on property Qualifications Prefer to have five years of background, two years in a supervisory role Possess excellent troubleshooting and repairing for HVAC, Electrical and Plumbing systems HVAC Certification is preferred Maintenance Electrical license is preferred Expertise to handle multiple high priority items simultaneously Meet or exceed targets for customer service and follow-up Expertise to work after hours andor weekends if neededCompetitive benefits package available.Please Fax resumes to [removed phone] or email to email shown in posting.Please include salary history and salary requirement with resume.
